Perfect gi for any beginner who wants their money's worth.

"This is the first gi I've ever worn, and so I can't really make any comparisons to other gis as far as thickness and durability goes, but the stitching and the material feels incredibly sturdy, and not at all like a normal piece of clothing. I am 5' 10", 178 lb, and the size 4 fits me relatively well, however the bottom of the jacket is a tad long below the belt, possibly because my torso is a bit shorter. Definitely wash the gi before wearing, otherwise the jacket will be very stiff and not fit naturally. Prewashing also helps prevent any dyes from sweating off of the gi during training. I will definitely be buying another gi from Fuji in the future."

"I’m 6’2 and weigh about 235lbs. The 4. 5 fits perfectly, so I’d recommend looking at the sizing chart and then going at least a size smaller."

Solid gi - but sizing is off

"The fit and feel is solid, but the sizing as described on the Fuji website is too far off. I used the original specs on Fuji’s website based on my height and weight and went with a size 5 from a vendor. It was way too big. I checked again, returned it, and sized down to a 4. 5 that I purchased directly from Fuji. It was still a little too big, but I hoped (incorrectly) that it would shrink enough after a few hot washes/dries. It did not. So now, I’m stuck with a gi that’s been used twice and is simply too big. I will need to buy a size 4 and see if someone at the club wants a free $100+ gi that was worn twice. Please simply update the sizing chart to accurately reflect the size. At 5’10”, 210 lbs, I actually need a size 4, not a size 5, as the website suggests. That’s a fairly large difference."

"The gi is amazing quality the only thing I would say is I’m 6’6 210 with a 82 inch wingspan and I ordered the size 6. It was big even on me but it’s nothing a little heat drying can’t fix. If I were to buy again I would buy the 5. 5"

Solid gi

"Honestly, I love all of your Judo gis and I don't really have anything to say. It's a just a real solid gi. I just have a suggestion. Could you PLEASE start making Judo gis in different colors? BJJ gis have so many cool designs and colors and I just want to have a cool looking Judo gi. It would be very cool if you brought back the old USA Judo gis or did a pink judo gi in honor of Judo Gene LeBell. Also, make more long sleeve rashguards and spats."
