Care and Sizing Instructions
All FUJI Gis are preshrunk. However, this does not mean your gi will not shrink. We recommend cold wash and hang dry; with this method your gi will only shrink up to one inch. Do not bleach. If your height and weight fall into different size categories, we recommend you choose the larger of the two sizes. Items can be returned as long as they have not been washed or worn for practice.

Great quality, fit, and design

"I live in Japan and wanted to buy gi that fit the female body well. Some Japanese brands had cool designs, but majority of them only had unisex. I decided to give Fuji a try, and this was a fantastic decision. Fit: I am a 5’5”, 126lb female, and size W1 fits great. The pant leg length is perfect. I feel like if I was 2” shorter, the sleeves would be a bit long. Embroidery: One worry I had before purchasing was that since the shoulders have flowered embroidery, it would look like I’m wearing shoulder pads, bulky and not flexible, but actually the gi molds to the body quite well at the shoulders. All the embroideries are so sturdy and detailed too. This gi is so beautiful, very vibrant well made. I’ve become a fan of Fuji and will be purchasing again :) Only complaint is that the international shipping was too expensive! Costed almost as much as the gi. Maybe consider some cheaper shipping options, then more people will purchase from abroad 😊"

I have the blue blossom gi, but looking for the black for my daughter in a W0. Noticed that few sizes are currently available in black. Will you be restocking anytime soon?

What does the lettering on the pants translate too?

Is the Blossum Gi approved under the new rules issued by the IBJJF for 2024? My current Fuji Sekei Gi that I wore in the 2023 Master Worlds and the 2024 Europeans has a pants hem that is 0.5 cm too big according to the new rules. Also, I’m not sure the weight of the pants meets the new rules. I already had a bad experience in the 2023 Pans when my Gi pants (from another company that insisted they were IBJJF approved for co,petition) were disqualified. I bought a bunch of new Gis that were supposedly competition Gis and they all had flaws that could cause them to be disqualified.
We have a new gi that is coming out soon that will meet all of the NEW IBJJF rules that come into effect in late 2024. Until then, most of our gis are legal to use in competitions.
I’d like to order an item for my granddaughter for Christmas. What is your return policy? If I order now, can she return after Christmas if necessary???
90-day return policy. Items can be sent back for a refund or exchange as long as the items have not been washed, worn (ok to try on), altered or soiled in any way. Shipping costs for the return are the responsibility of the customer. We will ship the new size to you at no additional cost if within the Contiguous US.
