"The customer service rep was honestly really nice and helpful. However what they had suggested was incorrect and I'm left with a very oversized Gi. After receiving the GI I had tried it on and it was really big even with the size chart, so I had asked the CS reps if I should exchange/return for a size down. They contacted someone in the dept and they had suggested I keep the size and shrink it given my weight and height. I must have tried to shrink it 7-8 times before I gave up and even the hottest settings towards the end. I contacted them later and they stated since I had washed it there is nothing they can do. So now I am left with a pretty huge gi with a tail flap in the back and sleeves that look like i'm a child wearing their parents sweater. +1 star for the help from the first customer service rep though, she did really try to help me with the sizing but had to reach out to someone else at the time. It just didn't happen to be correct."

It did run a tad
"It did run a tad bit big so I did have to shrink it little bit, outside of that this is a very high quality gi. I love the thickness and the texture of the weave it’s perfect for gripping and throwing."

"I've had a couple Fuji double weave gis before and this gi feels somewhat lighter than those, but not as light as a single weave. It feels nice and soft but it seems the sleeves run a little short which is the only downside so far (not a big enough issue to give 4 stars). Maybe go up a half size to be safe? Should be fine for local competitions though. The pants fit great and the embroidery is nice however the dojo in kanji part is a little cheesy. It's going to be my main training gi since it's softer and lighter than my double weave gi. Hope this helps!"

- Sizing goes by weight and then height. We cannot guarantee sizing due to everyone being built differently. You fall under the guidelines for size 3.5 NJ to Miami FL is typically 3 to 4 business days via UPS Ground.
- I ordered a size 4.5 and it is much larger than your sizing chart would indicate. Will you get size 4 back in stock?
- We have a shipment expected by mid-November. You can send yours back for an exchange and we can place the size 4 on backorder. Please contact customer service if you need more assistance.
- Does this gi run bigger than the size chart would indicate? I wear a size A3L in your BJJ gi. Does that translate to 4.5 or 5?
- Judo sizing works the same way as BJJ (weight and then height). Siz2 4.5 is the closest to A3L. Please check you weight and height against the JUDO size chart found on the items product page
- How much will it likely shink if I dry i?
- The GI is preshrunk so for best results always wash in cold water and hang dry. If shrinkage is needed you can wash in hot water and hot dryer. You can expect about 1/4 inch all around for shrinkage

Items can be returned for a refund or exchange if they have not been washed, worn (ok to try on), altered, or soiled in any way.
Shipping costs for the return are the customer's responsibility. We will ship the new size to you at no additional cost if within the Contiguous US.
