"The New Fuji Hybrid MMA sparring glove is something I’ve been waiting for for a long time. I’ve always felt there is a tool that the MMA community has been missing.  Traditional boxing gloves are too bulky and give you zero ability to grab or grip when grappling or going for takedowns. The problem with MMA sparring gloves is it’s much too easy to hurt or cut your opponent when throwing at realistic speeds. The main cause of injury when using traditional puffy MMA sparring gloves is the exposed knuckles at the fingertips. When these knuckles make contact with your partner’s face it often causes cuts. It’s never the intention to land a punch with the knuckles at the finger tips but it happens frequently when loopy punches (hooks, uppercuts and overhands) are smothered. If you’re a fighter who likes to fight on the inside this is a major concern. The new Fuji Hybrid allows for a more realistic sparring speed while still being able to grab and grip your opponent.
